Websites
This is an archive of various web pages I've created for myself and for
other people over the last several years. I admit that most of the
older ones are quite atrocious in both html and artwork; and that's
why I put them near the bottom where they'll hopefully go unnoticed.
Directory 512 (version 3)
February 2006
Obviously, this is the very website you're looking at.
|
Five-Star Technology Solutions
January 2006
This is the website of the company I currently work for. I made the graphics
and most of the interface html, while Jason (a co-worker) wrote much of the PHP
code to handle back-end database stuff and Jim (my boss) guided my design into
what the site is now. You can view the finished version
here.

Dude! Where's My Laptop?
December 2005
I made this site for the final project in
Dr. Doyle's B438 Computer Networks class at
IUS.
It allows you to track PC's, notebooks, and other devices by their IP address, and has various
tools for seeing the location of the device on a map or performing a traceroute. It includes
an installable client application that runs silently in the background and reports back to the
server at a set interval. I'd like to release it for free under the
GPL, but to do so would put me against
an army of patent trolls.
So as of now, no one can use it.

Noah's HVAC Parts
October 2005
This is a site I made for a client through Five-Star Tech. The live version
is here.
|
First Christian Church
August 2005
I started making this site for First Christian Church, but as of now, I'm still waiting
for them to get back with me so we can finalize the design and deploy the site. Their
curent site can be viewed here.
|
SCI Classifieds
August 2005
I started South Central Indiana Classifieds
as a project to learn more advanced PHP/MySql programming, as well as PayPal integration.
It's a massive site involving thousands of lines of code and a couple hundred hours
of programming (mostly learning time). When finished, I did launch it as a
local classifieds site. However, the regional response has been dismal; mostly due to
a lack of promotion I think.
|
Reliable Network Solutions
July 2005
Another site I was paid to make, this time by David Jourden for his
company—Reliable Network Solutions.
|
Web Away
June 2005
I bought Photoshop CS2 in May of 2005 and I used this opportunity to make my money back from
the purchase. Bob Magley wanted a better website to sell his spider-repellant for boats
and I made him this site. Although it was hosted here,
the last I checked it had some serious problems. This was also one of the first sites I
coded by hand using Eclipse and the
phpEclipse plugin.
|
The Code Codex
December 2004
Another website never launched, this was a site I planned specifically for programming articles
and resources. Too bad I like programming much more than I do writing about programming.
|
Axiom Music Group
August 2004
I made Axiom Music Group for Scott Hall as my first
paid website project. Scott was a friend of David Jourden's and needed a website
for his Christian music consulting business. I was referred and got the job.
I used a 30-day trial of Photoshop to help improve my design. Although
the design was significantly better than anything I'd done in the past, I think it pales in comparison
to my more recent work.
|
Chronotrigger.info (version 2)
July 2003
A somewhat graphically improved version of Wayne Kramer's
Chronotrigger.info.
|
Directory 512 (version 2)
May 2003
Version 2 was the version before this version. I made it in Paint Shop Pro for
layouts. The images themselves came from wallpapers and Unreal Tournament maps I'd
made. Like other sites from around this time, it contained much broken html code
and quite a bit of redundant code that CSS could do wonders for.
|
Java Journey
January 2003
This is a personal website I put together for Justin Stevens and Mark Walker, under
their direction. They helped me break my mold and come up with a much more abstract layout,
which I think looks very good. It's extremely outdated, but you can still visit it
here.
|
C&G Technologies
November 2002
This is a page design I put together for Greg Kramer, of C&G Technologies, in November
of 2002. The actual site is viewable here.
It's has also made brief appearances on such broadcasts as Tech-TV and Health Journal Television.
|
Directory 512 (version 1b)
September 2002
This was kind of a version between versions one and two. I don't count it as a complete,
stand-alone version since I never really used the design. This one was actually called D512
Software, as I was thinking of starting my own software company (or at least a website of one),
but decided against it for the time being. In retrospect, that was a good idea.
|
Chronotrigger.info (version 1)
November 2001
This is a page I designed for Wayne Kramer's
Chronotrigger website. The images
are from the game itself, but I made the ugly sand background and the indentations.
|
Lead
August 2001
This was the page for a missions organization (Live Every day As Disciples) Justin, Wayne,
and I were planning after the Arizona mission trip in July of 2001. Unfortunately, it never
really got off the ground.
|
Directory 512 (version 1)
August 2001
Upon its creation, this was the most aesthetically pleasing site I'd ever constructed. Imagine
that—I think it's quite ugly now! I put
it together after I got back from my two weeks in Europe. I knew a lot of my friends would want
to visit my site for Europe pictures, so I needed something a little better than what I had
before. I was very proud of this design upon its completion.
|
Directory 512 (version 0)
May 2001
I found another version of D512 older than version one. Since I already had a version one,
this will have to be version zero. This goes back to the very creation of Directory512. I used
the word directory because what I was creating at the time was an online directory for my various
photos. 512 was one of my favorite numbers, so I stuck that on the end. Please don't
view the full version of the thumbnail, as it's repulsively bad graphics design.
|
The T-Board
April 2001
This was a web page I created back in high-school entirely for the purpose of an inside joke between
some of my friends and myself. We took two lunch tables, arranged themselves in the shape of a 'T',
and commenced in discussing our plans for world domination. It was actually pretty
funny, as we had fake names, titles, and all spoke with Russian accents. The
website itself is downright hilarious if you have the right sense of humor.
|
Reality
February 2001
Reality was my first attempt at creating a Christian website, run by myself.
A valiant attempt, but my graphics skills needed serious work. I never did finish it.
|
Ye Village Mapsmith
June 2000
This is a very old site and perhaps the third (The first was Hammercraft, I don't remember
the second) site I ever made. This was merely a place for me to post the various Unreal
Tournament maps I made online and available for everyone to download.
|
Hammercraft
Sometime around 1999
Hammercraft is a Starcraft clan I was in during the summer of 1999 (I think). This logo
is the first experience I can remember with graphics design. Don't be too impressed though,
most of the images used are simply screenshots from the game. This logo is all I have
left of the actual site.
